From the first stitches to The Kaftan

Our story begins with a mother who started sewing. Her son shared her enthusiasm for Moroccan clothing. Together, they had the idea for The Kaftan: a brand that brings family, tradition and the beauty of the kaftan together.

What began with two people is now carried forward by several people. We stay true to the idea behind those beginnings: offering clothing that can hold a special place in the life of the person wearing it, from a family celebration to a wedding.

Our kaftans are made in Morocco. Our range also includes other clothing categories; the Moroccan origin of our kaftans does not mean every product in the store has the same origin. Always check the relevant product page for the details of each model.
